London, 28 July 2026 — The mayaNess Society today announced the inaugural Cognitive Quantum Intelligence Summit (CQIS 2026), to be held at The Royal Institution, London on 22–23 October 2026. The Summit will convene a strictly capped cohort of 180 vetted delegates — researchers, executives, policymakers, and technologists — at the intersection of cognitive AI, quantum computing, and GeoEconomic intelligence.

CQIS 2026 is the first summit of its kind: a closed, vetting-gated gathering designed not for mass attendance but for consequential exchange. There are no commercial exhibits, no vendor pitches, and no open registration. Every delegate is individually assessed before admission.

Why CQIS 2026 — and Why Now

The convergence of agentic AI systems, fault-tolerant quantum computing, and neuromorphic hardware is producing a civilisational inflection point. The decisions made by the institutions, governments, and capital principals in the room over the next 24 months will shape the cognitive architecture of the next century.

The two-day programme is structured around three thematic pillars that define the cognitive frontier of the current era:

The first generation of large language models has demonstrated both the extraordinary potential and the profound limitations of statistical AI. CQIS 2026 will convene leading researchers and practitioners working on what comes next: causal reasoning architectures, world-model-based AI, deterministic reasoning systems, and the emerging class of large action models designed for enterprise deployment.

Sessions will address:

The Venue: The Royal Institution, London

CQIS 2026 will be held at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS — one of the world's most storied scientific institutions, founded in 1799. The Royal Institution has hosted the discoveries of Humphry Davy, Michael Faraday, and James Dewar, and continues to operate as an independent charity dedicated to connecting people with the world of science.

The choice of venue is deliberate. The Royal Institution's Faraday Lecture Theatre — where Faraday himself delivered his famous Christmas Lectures — provides a setting that signals the intellectual seriousness of the gathering. CQIS 2026 is not a hotel ballroom conference. It is a summit in the tradition of the great scientific gatherings that have shaped civilisation.
